Meet Our Doctors

​​​​​Dr. Bautista is a California native, born and raised in the beautiful coastal city of San Luis Obispo. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from San Diego State University before heading north to pursue his Doctor of Optometry at the UC Berkeley School of Optometry, graduating in 2007. Go Bears!

With over 18 years of practice in San Francisco, Dr. Bautista has built a reputation for delivering thoughtful, comprehensive eye care to a diverse and loyal patient community. Throughout his career, he has co-managed thousands of pre- and post-operative cataract and refractive surgery patients, working closely with leading surgeons to ensure seamless, coordinated outcomes. He is fully trained and licensed to diagnose, treat, and manage a wide spectrum of ocular disease treatment and management— including the most common forms of glaucoma, and brings particular expertise in primary eye care and specialty contact lens fittings.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Bautista is a devoted husband and father to two kids who keep life wonderfully busy. When he can steal a moment, you'll find him on the soccer field, out on the trails, or working through a classical guitar piece — proof that a love of precision carries well beyond the exam room.

​​​​​Eyes on 24th is proud to welcome Dr. Allison Couture to our team, bringing with her a wealth of clinical training and a genuine passion for patient-centered care.

Dr. Couture's roots trace back to Spurgeon, Indiana, a close-knit rural town in the heart of the Midwest where her appreciation for community and connection first took hold. She went on to earn her undergraduate degree in Health and Human Sciences at Purdue University before pursuing her Doctor of Optometry at the University of Missouri–St. Louis College of Optometry. Seeking the highest level of clinical specialization, she completed her residency in Primary Care and Contact Lenses at the UC Berkeley School of Optometry — with a concentrated focus on dry eye disease, advanced contact lens fitting, and myopia management.

Dr. Couture brings a thoughtful, evidence-based approach to every patient encounter, whether she's managing a complex dry eye case, designing a specialty lens, or guiding a young patient through a myopia management program.

When she's not in the clinic, Dr. Couture can be found breaking a sweat at the gym, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, or seeking out the next great dining experience — Michelin-starred or otherwise. She shares her home with a very spoiled cat who, by all accounts, runs the household.

​​​​​Dr. Stout-Bautista is a Northern California native, raised in the charming wine country town of Sonoma. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Davis in 2000, and after taking a year to recharge and explore, she followed her passion for eye care north to Berkeley, graduating with her Doctor of Optometry from the UC Berkeley School of Optometry in 2005. Dr. Stout-Bautista continues to practice at Kaiser Permanente, where she brings her depth of experience to a broad and diverse patient population. Outside of work, she is happily devoting her time to her greatest joy, raising her children and being present for all the moments that matter most.
